Vision of Pharmacy Program

Objective of Pharmacy Program

Course Duration

Admission Requirements

For students who have completed their SEE (Secondary Education Examination), the admission requirements for the Pharmacy program are generally as follows:

Admission Requirements for SEE Students:

1. Educational Qualification:

   • Applicants must have completed the SEE (Secondary Education Examination) or an equivalent examination, preferably in the Science stream with subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

   • A background in the science stream is generally mandatory, as the curriculum includes subjects related to biology, chemistry, and drug formulations.

2. Minimum Marks:

   • Students need to meet the minimum grade or percentage criteria set by CTEVT or the respective institution. Typically, students with a strong academic record in their SEE exams have a higher chance of being admitted, especially in subjects like Biology and Chemistry.

3. Entrance Examination:

   • Most institutions require students to appear for an entrance examination organized by CTEVT or the respective institution.

   • The entrance exam may include sections on General Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics to assess the student's aptitude for the pharmaceutical program.

4. Age Limit:

   • Candidates are usually required to be between 16 to 25 years of age at the time of application, but this can vary based on CTEVT's specific regulations or the institution's policies.

5. Health and Physical Fitness:

   • Students may be required to submit a medical fitness certificate to confirm that they are physically capable of handling the demands of the program, which may include practical training and laboratory work.

6. Documents Required:

   • SEE/Equivalent certificates and transcripts.

   • Citizenship proof (for Nepalese students) or another valid identification.

   • Passport-sized photographs.

   • Character certificate from the last institution attended.
